Damien "zedveron" Elsing is a poker player from Melbourne, Australia. He began playing online MTTs in late 2007 and plays mainly at the small- to mid-stakes level, predominantly on Pokerstars and Full Tilt. He amassed over $40,000 in profit from online MTTs during 2008 while completing an English degree at LaTrobe University. Now a full-time player known for high-volume play, zed has won many of the small to mid-stakes nightly tournaments across both sites, including the $70K guaranteed, the $11 1r1a, as well as the $28K guaranteed and several of the Big Doubles on Full Tilt. His biggest win came when he outlasted a field of almost 2000 players to take down the Pokerstars $80K guaranteed $11 rebuy for over $13,000 in February 2009, the same month he had a total of 111 cashes across the two sites.
